Understand
these common causes of acne and You can
Cure Your Acne Soon!
Do you know
why you suffer from Acne? You tried
all the acne products so far without any results?
Acne is not a skin disease, but it is caused by
toxins and hormonal imbalance in the body. First, let's find
out how these toxins accumulate in your body and how that leads to
acne.
Sources of toxins
Our bodies are constantly bombarded by
toxins. Toxins enter our body from the food we eat, the polluted air
we breath, the water we drink, and the chemicals from the personal
and beauty
products we use.
Unfortunately, today we live in such a toxic
environment. Unless you live in a remote island that is far away
from cities, it's difficult to prevent toxins from
entering your body.
How the toxins cause
acne
The body can eliminate toxins through the
kidney, liver, and bowels. But when your body contains too much
toxins, the major organs such as the kidneys, livers, and
bowels get overloaded and cannot efficiently remove all of the
toxins.
When your
major channels of toxins are overloaded, the body resort to the skin
as alternative channel of toxins elimination. The skin then becomes
a fertile ground for the acne bacteria to thrive in. And when this
happens, you have acne breakouts.
Toxins are harmful for the body and it can lead
to other harmful health issues besides acne. It is best to remove
these harmful toxins from the body.

How hormonal
imbalance can lead to acne
Another contributor
of acne is hormonal imbalance. When you have hormonal
imbalance, the sebaceous glands produce excessive amount of oil. The
extra oil mixes with dead skin cells, which can clog the
pores. The clogged pore then makes the perfect environment for
acne bacteria to thrive. This bacteria in the plugged follicle
eventually leads to inflammation of the skin and cause pimples or
acnes. Acne can be either mild, moderate or severe. For severe cases
of acne, you should go visit a skin doctor.
As you can see, the 2 main contributors of acne
are toxins build up in the body and clogged pores due to excessive
oil and presence of dead skin cells. Below, I
summarize the factors which lead to oily skin and clogged pores and
toxins build-up.
Hormones: The number one
causes of acne is the production of sex hormones, known as androgen,
that begins at puberty. This explains why most acne sufferers are
adolescents and teens. Hormones are also responsible for the acne
flare-ups during menstruation and pregnancy. When the sebaceous
gland is stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum or oil. In
its journey up the follicle toward the surface, the sebum mixes with
common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from
the lining of the follicle. While this process is normal, the
presence of extra sebum in the follicle increases the chances of
clogging and acne.Read more about hormones below.
Stress: can also cause the
production of hormones, such as cortisol, which can aggravate acne.
Stress brings upon different hormone levels. With hormone changes,
the body prompts the skin's oil glands to enlarge, secreting more
oil. This leads to white heads, black heads and pimples.
Oily or heavy make up: Heavy
make-up clogs the pores and oily make-ups add more oil, which only
makes the problem worse if you already have oily skin.
Medications and steroids:
Vitamins are good for your body, but an excess of vitamins B1, B6
and B12 can be toxic and can lead to acne flare-ups. It is best to
not overuse these vitamins.
Food: For some people, a diet
that is high in refined carbohydrates and sugars can trigger the
body to produce more oil, which make their acne problem worse. For
others, eating lots of processed food can cause breakouts since
these food fill the body with toxins.
Over abrasive cleansing: Harsh
exfoliators can damage skin and spread the infections.
Picking and squeezing: Picking
and squeezing your pimple, especially if your fingers are dirty, can
actually send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause
scarring.
Genetics: If you parents have
bad skin, you may inherit the bad skin from them. Severe cases of
cystic acne usually come from heredity.
Available
Treatment for Acne
There are many treatment options available for acne,
from over the counter products such as Oxy-10, Clearasil, ProActiv
to doctor prescribed medicine such as Accutane and antibiotics.
These treatment options are ineffective however, since they only treat
the symptoms of acne and not the source. Furthermore, they
have harmful side effects that may cause long term, irreversible damage
to the body and the skin.
To effectively treat
acne, you must fight acne from both inside the body as well as
outside the body. It starts with
reducing the amount of toxins in
your body and then taking care of the body
and the skin through
proper diet , skin care , exercise, and rest.
If your acne still persists, you should use an
acne treatment system that fight acne from inside the body and
outside on the skin through a combination of herbal detoxifying
supplements and a gentle, oily-free cleanser. Go
